HIGHLY ADOPTABLE!!! So much personality and so full of love! Freckles loves to be petted and brushed and to snuggle under her fleece blanket. Freckles has a very funny and goofy personality! Freckles and her sister Precious once had a happy life with a woman who cherished them and 9 other animals living in the home. Unfortunately she passed away from cancer and for 9 long months afterward, the animals lived alone in the house with no human interaction. A caretaker came to put down food and clean the litter boxes, but never laid eyes on Freckles or Precious! They lived alone in a room separated from the other animals and only had each other for comfort. The house was infested with mold and in foreclosure. Freckles and Precious turned 4 years old on July 1st, xxxx. They are beautiful, outgoing, super sweet calico cats. Unfortunately, with nothing else to occupy their time while they lived alone, they ate way too much junky cat food, and became morbidly obese. We put them on a strict, healthy diet of frozen raw cat food and they've slimmed down nicely in their foster home in NEW MILFORD, CT. (Since 11/26/xxxx Freckles has lost more than 6 lbs and is looking and feeling better at just under 12 lbs. Precious is now a dainty 8.5 lbs!) We have discovered that they cannot eat beef, but do great on chicken and duck. Freckles and Precious are a bonded pair but DO NOT have to be adopted together.
