Silver is beautiful to look at. Absolutely gorgeous. But he is shy around people, and only lets those he knows best pet him. He is in therapy to overcome his fears and he's come a very long way, but he needs to be socialized slowly in a new environment. With love and patience, and an owner who will not have expectations of him being a lap cat (although one day, in the right home, he may very well become one) he'll come around. He loves the company of other cats and absolutely must go to a home with at least one other friendly cat or perhaps as a pair with one of his friends from our shelter.
